MGI Jet Varnish 3DS

The MGI Jet Varnish 3DS is designed and manufactured by MGI with Konica Minolta technologies. The Jet Varnish 3DS can convert regular printed output into high-margin spot UV printed sheets, or even higher margin 3D embossed jobs with up to 100 microns of varnish be applied to the sheet, which lifts the image from the page and adds a higher level of sheen to colours. When combined with the iFoil S unit the 3DS gives you the ability to varnish and foil digitally in-line.

iFoil S MGI Option – Spectacular and Unique Foil effects are now available within a full digital process. By adding the iFoil S, it eliminates the need for dies and long make ready so you can hot foil stamp dynamically, creating impact and increased value from your print.
Extended Media Capability – The Jet Varnish is compatible with offset or digital prints. You can spot varnish on toner or offset prints with and without lamination, making print workflows so much easier. Media weights from 135gsm to 450gsm are able to be embellished with ease.
