Submission Criteria – Kundu Man Naming Competition

• To qualify, every entry MUST include:
  1. Name Suggestion
  • 1–2 words only
  • Clear and easy to pronounce
  • No symbols, numbers, or emojis in the name
  2. One-Sentence Explanation
  • Must explain why the name fits the character
  • Keep it simple and relevant
  3. Platform Requirement
  • Entry must be submitted via:
    • Facebook comments (primary)
    • TikTok comments (secondary)

  No DMs. No inbox messages.

  4. Eligibility
  • Open to residents of Papua New Guinea
  • Participants must be 10 years or older
  • Employees of the Remington Group can participate but:
    • ❌ Not eligible to win the main prize
  5. Entry Limits
  • Maximum 3 entries per person

   JUDGING CRITERIA (HOW WE PICK THE WINNER)
  Each valid entry will be judged on:

  1. Creativity & Originality (30%)
  • Is it fresh?
  • Does it stand out?
  • Or is it something we’ve heard 100 times before?
  2. Brand Fit (25%)
  • Does it reflect:
    • Smart
    • Reliable
    • Fast
    • Helpful
  • Can we actually use this in ads, radio, and in-store?
  3. PNG Identity (20%)
  • Does it feel local?
  • Does it connect with PNG culture (without being forced)?
  4. Simplicity & Memorability (15%)
  • Easy to say
  • Easy to remember
  • Rolls off the tongue

  👉 If people struggle to say it, it’s out.

  5. Explanation Quality (10%)
  • Does the reason actually make sense?
  • Or is it just filler?

  FINAL DECISION

  • Winner will be selected by an internal Remington Hi-Tek panel
  • Decision is final (no debates, no voting wars)

  COMPETITION RULES & LOGISTICS

  1. Campaign Timeline
  • Launch: 13 April 2026
  • Closing Date: 13 May 2026 (11:59 PM)
  • Winner Announcement: Within 3–5 working days after closing
  2. Prize Details
  • 🏆 K2,000 Remington Hi-Tek Voucher
  • Non-transferable
  • Not redeemable for cash
  • Valid for selected products only (define internally if needed)
  3. Winner Selection Process
  • Shortlist top entries internally
  • Final selection by judging panel
  • Winner contacted via:
    • Facebook or TikTok account used to enter

  👉 If no response within 48 hours, a new winner may be selected

  4. Content Usage Rights

  By entering, participants agree that:

  • Remington Hi-Tek has the right to:
    • Use the submitted name in branding, marketing, and campaigns
    • Modify or adapt the name if required for brand use

  👉 No future compensation beyond the stated prize

  5. Disqualification Conditions

  Entries may be removed if they are:
  ❌ Offensive, abusive, or inappropriate
  ❌ Politically sensitive or controversial
  ❌ Copied from another person
  ❌ Spam or repeated excessively

  7. General Conditions
